We are dedicated breeders with over 28 years of experience breeding and exhibiting some different breeds, and we have dedicated years to working exclusively with Toy dogs and Sighthounds. Maison D'etoiles is a small hobby registered Kennel, located in Belo Horizonte city, Brazil, South America.

After studying about the different Toy breeds, we decided on Papillons, who are our passion. We started in the Papillon breed in 2006, acquiring some special dogs from American, Brazilian, Finnish, Japanese, and Swedish lines. In 2010 we started in the "Sighthound" breeds, acquiring a couple of American Borzois, and a wonderful Saluki. In 2016 a dream came true, and we got from our friends & breeders our first Italian Greyhounds! They are from famous American, Brazilian, Colombian, and Dutch lines.

Maison D'etoiles Kennel has been active in breeding and showing, producing some dogs that have achieved top ranking, Brazilian Champions, Panamerican Champions, International Champions, Best of Breed winners, Group winners, Multi Group placed, BIS, and BISS. Also, we have produced excelent companions as well!

Always striving to produce genetically sound dogs, true to the breed standard, temperament, and type, working with a low COI% to maintaining the genetic diversity of each breed. Sometimes we chose to work with a linebreeding, because we consider to be an equilibrium method, and in order to ensure certain phenotypic homogeneity, avoiding the risks of excessive inbreeding.

We have only a few litters per year, opting for quality over quantity. While we have enjoyed significant showring success over the years, raising happy, healthy puppies is the first priority, and the show success comes second.

We have been involved with responsible dog breeding & ownership, being the pioneers in Brazil to adopt and promote spaying/ neutering procedures in pets, since 1999. All pets puppies are already placed microchipped, spayed or neutered before leaving our home, no exception, and they are up to date on all vaccinations.

Our dogs are from Champions and TOP imported bloodlines, using only those lines that have proven to be successful for many years.
